Obesity on the rise in pet populations

From the Voice of the Valley- We all know that the United States has an alarming rate of people whom are obese, but a recent study found that American pets are also experiencing the same weight problems. “A 2012 survey by the American Veterinary Medical Association reported that 53% of pet dogs and 58% of pet cats are reported as overweight or obese.
