In the past, we’ve had much local coverage of our Pick a Pooch Adoption Days and Pet Expo from both small and larger news organizations. From the Ralston Recorder to the Daily Nonpareil and all four local TV stations, we’re glad to have media that cares about telling their readers and viewers about our biggest events that aim to bring the community and humane organizations closer.

This year, we’re again excited to have 100 vendors and two dozens rescue and shelter groups in attendance. Event goers will be able to shop from pet-loving business, get information about our Pet Partners in the Omaha companion animal industry,  and meet a bunch of adoptable dogs and cats. Those interested in finding out more about rescue and shelter volunteering, fostering, and donation opportunities will have no better time to do so that the Pets in Omaha Pick a Pooch Adoption Days and Pet Expo.

Below, you’ll find a press release that explains what to expect at the event. We’re especially proud to add a new wrinkle to this year’s show: a pet food donation drive that we hope becomes the largest of its kind in our city’s history.
