Pets can test positive for Corona, but can it transfer to their owners?

By on March 17, 2020

A couple of weeks ago, when a dog tested positive for corona virus, we reported on it. It seems that the dog came into contact with something and claimed a “surface positive” case, meaning it “had” it, but not really. If that makes sense.

We found another article related to this topic that seconds the idea that pets can contract the virus, but transmitting it is not likely- maybe impossible.

We hope everyone is staying safe, being responsible, and looking forward to life as we knew it a couple of weeks ago.

Stay tuned to Pets in Omaha for cancellations on pet events (some have happened already) and HOPEFULLY some more enjoyable pet news and information along the way.
