Pets in Omaha’s 2016 Shelter Aid Recap

By on October 9, 2016

On Saturday, October 8, the Nebraska Humane Society, Midlands Humane Society, and Town and Country Humane Society joined Pets in Omaha at Plaza Buick GMC in Omaha for the 2016 Shelter Aid Donation Drive.

Five adoptable dogs from the shelters were in attendance along with some shelter alumni and Baxter from the Nebraska Humane Society. After three hours, each volunteer vehicle from the shelters was full of items from their wish lists: paper goods, dog and cat food, toys, ziplock bags, trash bags, litter, and even gift cards.

Thanks to the shelters and thanks especially to those who generously came out to donate supplies. We’re estimating that about $1,500 worth of items were donated thanks to the participating pet community members.
