BREAKING: Structure fire at Nebraska puppy mill

By on May 28, 2018

A structure fire at a Nebraska puppy mill on Memorial Day, May 28, 2018, has threatened, injured, and displaced multiple dogs.

At this time, an investigation from local authorities and the Department of Agriculture is pending and will take place on the morning on Tuesday, May 29. At the conclusion of the investigation, the fate of animals on-site (over 30 dogs) will be discussed by law enforcement.

We’ve got contacts on the ground and in the know. Tomorrow, once the investigation is concluded, we’ll provide all the details of the fire, the fate of the animals, and any decisions made about the commercial canine breeding facility. Information can’t be released at this point because of the investigation and because determinations about the future of animals on-site depend on what’s found tomorrow.
