Here’s how to help animals displaced by Hurricane Dorian

By on September 6, 2019

Hurricane Dorian has ravaged the Bahamas and continues to twirl around the southeast coasts of our country. Though we can’t step out of our homes and do something directly to help, there are many ways to help those who are helping folks impacted by the storm.

If you’re especially interested in helping animals displaced by Dorian, here’s a great article from USA Today that will direct you to a bunch of ways to help. In the article, you can see who is airlifting animals out, where those animals are going, and who is organizing relief efforts. Links are provided to donate.

We’ve not heard of any shelters or rescues in our area that are taking on animals, but we’d love to share that news should you have any. Let us know if your favorite humane organization is helping by clicking here.
