Paws to Angels adds pet hospice to end-of-life care services

Paws To Angels Pet Loss Center is at the forefront of end-of-life care for pets in the Greater Omaha area. Not only is Paws To Angels the state of Nebraska’s only full service pet loss center, they are now Nebraska’s first and only “Total End of Life Care Service for Pets,” says owner Cherie Fry. “We are honored to offer pet hospice, a meaningful and compassionate end of life care service.

-Now Nebraska’s Only Total End of Life Care Service Provider for Pets Omaha, NE (August 5, 2014) –

Paws To Angels Pet Loss Center & Services is now offering in-home pet hospice care, providing palliative care for the pet and support for the families of Omaha. Paws To Angels has partnered with Beyond the Rainbow, the first pet hospice in Texas to provide true hospice care to the kids in fur coats in Omaha. They will be in Omaha on August 14-16th, 2014 and would like to invite you to call for an interview.
More than just euthanasia, hospice allows us to provide education and support to the entire family. Whether we’re with them for a month or a year, Paws to Angels will be here to walk the final chapter with your family.”

Animal hospice and palliative care provide comfort to our four-legged family members as they approach the end of life. Services include pain management, palliative care, holistic healing (if requested) and euthanasia for the pet, all provided in the comfort and safety of their home. The program also provides education and support to the pet families. “Many pet parents don’t understand the basic signs that a pet is in pain. They think that if they are still eating that they are okay, and that’s not always the case.”, says Kate Moore, the co-founder of Beyond the Rainbow. The concept initially gained significant traction within the pet industry and veterinary medical field. Now, pet owners are embracing it.
Many pet parents choose hospice care in order to participate in decision making about their pet’s needs, have the time to say goodbye to their companions and to plan for their death.
