Santa Claus, Marines team up to make sick children’s day in Omaha

By on December 8, 2013

From Omaha.com- Yesterday, Santa and a group of United States Marines delivered some holiday cheer to Children’s Hospital in Omaha.

Bringing toys and eliciting smiles, the visitors completed their acts of love and kindness through the Salvation Army’s “Toys for Tots” campaign.

Visit the Omaha World Herald’s Web site at this link for a wonderful picture of Anna Barrett, 6, of Lincoln, as she enjoys meeting Santa Claus in the pediatric intensive care unit.

It’s an event like this that always seems to happen during the holiday season and it undoubtedly warms our hearts when we hear about them. Have a similar story or event like this? Comment below or tweet us @PetsInOmaha.
