VCA Animal Medical Center of Omaha Appoints New Medical Director-
Fast Growing Veterinary Hospital Strengthens Human Capital
Omaha, NE – VCA Animal Medical Center of Omaha (http://www.vcahospitals.com/animal- medical-omaha) announced that Dr. Sharon Mix has joined the growing AAHA –accredited 4 doctor practice team to further develop and grow this leading Animal Medical Center. Dr. Mix comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge. In this role she is responsible for establishing the medical quality and exceptional patient care practiced by all doctors in the hospital. Dr. Mix serves as a mentor and role model for the Associate and Staff Veterinarians.
Dr. Mix joins VCA Animal Medical Center as the Medical Director to continue VCA Animal Medical Center of Omaha’s long running success of providing quality care to pets and excellent service to clients. She attended San Diego State University and earned her Bachelors in Biology
with an emphasis in Zoology. She then went on graduate with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2009.
Prior to joining VCA Animal Medical Center of Omaha Dr. Mix served as the Medical Director of VCA Rancho Animal Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. A move to be closer to family brought Dr. Mix to Omaha and we could not feel more fortunate to have her level of experience on our team.

A reception to meet Dr. Mix will be held on Feb 27th 4pm-7pm at VCA Animal Medical Center of Omaha. Both Pets and Humans are welcome to attend.
