VCA MidWest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center Raises $15,919.14 for Search Dog Foundation
Here’s some cool news we received featuring Omaha’s VCA and the National Disaster Search Foundation. See the press release below and join us in saying congratulations!
Omaha, NE – VCA MidWest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center (https://vcahospitals.com/midwest) raised $15,919.14 for the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation (https://searchdogfoundation.org/) during VCA’s annual Pennies for Pets campaign.
The mission of the Pennies for Pets program is to provide a platform for collecting donations at VCA Animal Hospitals nationally to financially support worthy local and regional companion animal nonprofit organizations. Last year, the campaign successfully raised $565,000 nationwide in three months benefiting more than 50 companion animal welfare organizations. In the past two years, the program has successfully raised and donated over $1million to companion animal nonprofits.
“We’re excited to continue the momentum of our Pennies for Pets campaign this year for the benefit of so many companion animal welfare organizations,” said Brandon Antin, VCA Vice President of Social Responsibility and Innovation. “Each VCA hospital carefully selects a deserving charity that helps pets and families in need in their communities. These charities rescue animals, provide support to those who’ve lost pets, train and provide service dogs to military veterans and law enforcement, fund medical assistance to needy pets, and help pets in many other valuable ways.”
