COVID-19 postpones, cancels even more pet events

Do you work with Domesti-PUPS or partake in any of its events and classes? Here are some updates you’ll want to note.
| As the COVID-19 (coronavirus) evolves, we are taking extra care of our clients and volunteers, and practicing social distancing. These challenges affect the way we are able to conduct business. Because of this many of our classes and events are being rescheduled or cancelled. Please review the listing below to see how this may affect you. If you have signed up for a class that has been rescheduled and the dates no longer work for you, please email info@domesti-pups.org to request a refund. Otherwise, your space will be held for that class. EVENTS: The Roaring ’20s Gala is postponed until 2021. Our annual Service Dog Camp is postponed, the new dates are July 29-August 10. SATURDAY PLAYGROUPS: Summer monthly playgroups will be held:June 13July 11August 15 Weekly playgroups will resume in the fall on Saturday, September 5. PET THERAPY VISITS: Regular pet therapy visits will be cancelled through May 6. OBEDIENCE CLASSES: Puppy Manners begins at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 10 (Lincoln). Beginning Obedience begins at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 10 (Lincoln). Intermediate Obedience begins at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 10 (Lincoln). Canine Good Citizen class begins at 7pm on on Tuesday, May 12 (Lincoln); Testing will be held on Saturday, June 20. PET THERAPY CERTIFICATION COURSE: FREMONT course begins Tuesday, June 30 at 6:00 pm. LINCOLN course begins Thursday, July 2 at 6:00 pm. AUBURN course dates to be announced soon. Testing for all locations will be in Lincoln on Saturday, August 22nd (times will vary). Graduation for the 2020 Pet Therapy Teams will be on Sunday, December 6. Pet Therapy RECERTIFICATION for existing teams (required every 2 years) will be held on Saturday, August 29 (times will vary). Again, if you have signed up for a class that has been rescheduled and the dates no longer work for you, please email info@domesti-pups.org to request a refund. Otherwise, your space will be held for that class. |
