Golden Retriever Rescue in Nebraska Annual Event

On Sunday, October 12 from noon until 4 p.m., the Golden Retriever Rescue in Nebraska will be holding its annual event at Offutt Base Lake Park in Bellevue. The afternoon will be full of fun activities for adults, kids and dogs!
Here are some of the things you will enjoy upon attending this year’s event:
- Educational programs including information on the AKC Canine Good Citizen program
- A demonstration by the Offutt Air Force Base dog handlers
- An “Ask the Vet” session with Dr. Melody Kaliff of Omaha’s Animal Suburban Clinics
- A Cakewalk, other games and face-painting
- A parade featuring rescued golden retrievers
- Free hot dogs, chips and drinks
- A Halloween costume contest for dogs including prizes for the top three winners
- Great merchandise from the Goldren Retriever Rescue in Nebraska Rescue including new brands and limited edition t-shirts
- A silent auction for two round-trip tickets from Southwest Airlines (proceeds go to Golden Retriever Rescue of Nebraska)
- Vendor booths including Three Dog Bakery, The Green Spot and Clearview Pet Care Centre
