Good Dog in a Box, a dog products company with its roots in positive reinforcement dog training, has a new and free video series for dog owners. The company’s website says Good Dog in a Box is “a bit high tech,” offering e-learning, of which this series aims to provide. “Happy families with happy dogs means less dogs surrendered to animal shelters. Together, we can make a difference. we want to help dogs stay in their forever homes,” the site’s About Us page says.

The “Welcome Home” video series was created to help new pet parents better know what to do with their furry family member in the critical first two weeks. Click here to start watching.

This video series offers 16 videos in all and covers everything from the top ten things to have before your dog comes home to how to socialize with other dogs to house-training. The lessons are all short, easy to understand, and reward based. Jenn Merritt, CPDT-KA, BS, and co-founder of Good Dog in a Box created and stars in “Welcome Home.”

The video series is available free to anyone who would like to watch it. Good Dog encourages watchers to share it with clients, send it out in an email, post it on their website, blog about it, and/or talk it up in social media. If you’d like to join Good Dog in a Box’s free Partner Program, they’ll give you links and graphics you can use to promote it.

Any time there are free opportunities to learn and become better, more responsible pet owners, we’ll encourage you to take advantage.
