By on April 11, 2016

Midlands Humane Society (MHS), a nonprofit organization, is hosting its annual fundraising event on Friday, May 6, at 5:30 p.m. at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs.

This is the biggest fundraising event of the year for MHS and the festivities will include:

  • cocktails
  • a wine pull
  • a gift card tree
  • a silent auction
  • buffet dinner
  • a live auction
  • a “four-legged fashion show”
  • much more!

Tickets to Harry Connick, Jr., season passes to Creighton Men’s and Women’s basketball, and other big ticket items will be available for bid during the auction and a Game of Thrones-themed dinner will surely be fun to experience.

“The generosity of the nearly 450 animal lovers that attended last year’s event raised $115,000,” says Nikki Cruickshank, MHS Executive Director, “which made a huge impact in our ability to care for thousands of animals that come to MHS. Funds raised at this event help us improve the care and shelter we give to the homeless animals in our community that need a second chance.”

Individual tickets, tables, and sponsorship opportunities are available. All proceeds benefit MHS. Register for the event by visiting http://midlandshumanesociety.org/events.
