Basic Dog Training

Let’s face it, Training Classes are an investment of both time and money; however, the return on that investment can be life changing for you and your companion.  Learning to train your pet is fun and doesn’t require any specialized experience.  Our enthusiastic instructors will help you learn to build a strong bond with your companion by improving communication, understanding, and appropriate boundaries.  Your pet will benefit from clear leadership, exercise, training and play.  The result will be a well-mannered family member that is happy and a joy to live with.

In addition, all proceeds from our training classes go directly back to helping animals in need at the Nebraska Humane Society.

Behavior Help Line provided by the Nebraska Humane Society

Maybe you are wondering why your cat suddenly stopped using the litter box? Maybe you want to know how to keep your dog from digging. You don’t want to confine your dog all day, but when you leave him out, he chews EVERYTHING. Even the most patient pet owner can end up at wits end by a behavior problem like marking territory, or aggression. We suggest calling our behavior helpline (402)444-7800 ext 221 for advice from our experts on specific problems you just can’t live with or email bhelp@nehumanesociety.org. You can also check out our archives of articles for advice and ideas on beating the behavior blues. Click here for a link to a Helpline page from the Nebraska Humane Society.

If you’d like to build a little structure into your dog’s life, there’s a class for you. Whether it is a basic class, an advanced one, one for new relationships or just a little help from the NHS’s Helpline, all the information you’ll need is right here.
