These Pet-friendly business let you shop with your dog!

Summer is here in full swing. The days are longer and hotter and your furry best friend can feel it, too. It’s too hot to leave them outside for too long without shelter and water.

But you might not want to leave him inside all day either. Leaving your dog alone for long periods of time can lead to stained carpets and tattered furniture and shoes.

Nancy Bronner said that she tries to bring her 3-year-old bulldog named Shelby with her to run errands. One day, she was looking for some boots and went to Cabela’s. Bronner had brought Shelby with her before, but this time the greeter told her that dogs weren’t allowed anymore.

“He [the greeter] said I could put her in a kennel. I said no thanks, I’ll take her back outside,” Bronner said.

But there are still several businesses in the Omaha & Metro area that will welcome your dog according to omaha.dog. If you have errands, consider bringing the pup along!
